The Flipped Classroom ðŸ’💻🖧
In the classical setting classroom is all about the teacher he uses all the tools to give the lecture and to deliver instructions. The teacher has a defined space, usually in front of the classroom, where he makes use of markers, boards, projectors, and other tools to hold a lecture. All the students sit in rows in their own part of the classroom and should pay attention to that lecture. Now days with the passing of the years things are changing. Students can watch or listen to the lectures at home and they can have access at lectures anytime. The teacher is the guide leading students to acquire knowledge by themselves. The flipped classroom creates a more personalized experience of learning.Different from the traditional way of learning that you have to finish an exercise in the time given, students can adjust the speed of acquiring new information to their abilities. With flipped classrooms students can rewind and replay lessons as much as they need ,can pause or jump to a specific section of a video according to their needs.Flipped learning platforms let teachers create the flipped lessons from anywhere at school, at home, or on the go. By implementing the flipped learning, teachers are able to save time and let students take control of their own learning. There are also some disadvantages of this way of learning might be that some students don`t have the right means the computer, the telephone or ipad for the moment or just don`t have them at all in order to follow the lectures online. This model can be unsuccessful also if students don’t do the work,if they don’t have access to internet outside of school.A lot of things should be held in mind when deciding to create a flipped classroom. By the other hand it should also be admitted the great profits of the innovative method of flipped classrooms, teachers support students in becoming self-directed learners, instead of telling them what to learn, how to learn, when to learn and how to prove that they learned. They are more engaged and responsible for their own learning. They are not sitting and listening to their teacher, and the teacher isn't trying to keep them quiet. Additionally, any course-based communication, using tools such as chat activities among students will likely be easier for participants and allow for a richer team experience.
Project Based Learning Reading about project based learning reminded me of the projects we used to make in the previous years in different subjects. Now I have a clear idea of the reason why we did those projects and their importance. I remember a project in biology and we were divided in pairs and had to construct a body cell with all its parts. The teacher left us free choice about how to construct it and what materials to use. My friend and I chose to make it with plasticine . Still today I have in my mind the steps we followed to design it and the colors used according to each organelle in order to make it as real as possible. During all the time when we were preparing it I was motivated and wanted to see how it would look like in the end. In every step we made when constructing it, we had a look at the book seeing different pictures in order to make it like the one in the textbook. It was not only the image that got stuck in my brain but also the terms, the name...

I agree with you that flipped classrooms create a more personalized experience of learning than traditional ways of teaching.I like the fact that you have not only mentioned the benefits of this type of class, but also the aspects we should consider when we decide to implement this method in our future classes.
