I have chosen this topic to post on the blog because I think experience influences learning and we learn best by doing. This is what David Kolb`theory is about.  David Kolb  is an American psychologist and educational theorist. He  is  best known for his research on experiential learning and learning styles. Just like we have been discussing about different styles of learning and multiple intelligence Kolb also has come to some conclusions by giving his point of view how different people grasp best the information.  E xperiential learning  is a process by which knowledge results from different combinations of grasping and transforming experiences.  Edtech  –  or education technology  –  is about applying digital technology to support better, more personalized learning.  Why do we need to use technology in the classroom? Early learners, as well as older students, can benefit from the implementation of edtech. By incorporating play, creativity, and familiar digital tools, students are much likely to stay interested.   It  can be something as simple as using current technology in a new and fun way.   That way, no one gets left behind and the whole learning environment becomes and stays collaborative.  Bring Your Own Device educational approach is becoming increasingly popular in the classroom. Online learning takes place at any time.  In such cases, students ideally complete the course at their own pace, by using a Learning Platform like an LMS. There are some examples of asynchronous learning like Self-paced (SCORM), Audio/Video, E-mail, Discussion forum, Wiki/Blog, Webcasting/Conferencing, CBT and WBT, Simulations, Game-based learning.     Nowadays self study is the most common method which uses wiki, blog and any reading material like ppt, pdf files to offer the initial knowledge to learners. This also allows subject matter experts to the group of learners on the classroom training to resolve their queries and doubts.  The second most common method is to create demo video to train the learners.
