   Characteristics of 21st century way of teaching       In the last years of study we have learned more about new methods of teaching foreign language to students which are very different from the traditional one. Some of the characteristics of the modern way of teaching I wanted to list in my blog. On of them is learner-centered classroom and personalized instruction.  Students have different personalities, goals, and needs, and offering personalized instruction is not just possible but desirable. When students are allowed to make their own choices, they own their learning, increase intrinsic motivation, and put in more effort.     Students nowadays own expensive devices with capabilities to produce blogs, infographics, books, how-to videos, and tutorials, but in many classes they are still asked to turn those devices off and work with handouts.   Webinar     I have been watching the videos that our professor sent us on our email address and I found them really interesting. I had never heard before about webinars and I already feel like I learned something new even without reading about it. After watching some videos online I also decided to insert one here just as an example. It`s about learning grammar through writing, speaking, listening and reading classes.The person who directs it is a professor of applied linguistics and for the moment her location is in the mountains in Northern Arizona and it snows. In the video even if I am not a participator I and interacting I feel part of  it because we share the same goals that is of teaching students in the best way possible.
